Having seen the recent KZbin stuff about Peter “Kendo” Thornley, he comes across as a really nice guy, so it’s hard to believe he’s the evil bastard we see in the ring 😳

Roberts certainly takes a thrashing during this match. He makes for an ideal Face/Hero.

19:12 ah Pete - so close to unmasking your archenemy. Getting heated with the ref caused you to turn your back on Kendo who took full advantage with a vicious judo chop across the top of your head.

“Kung Fu Fighter Pete Roberts”? I’ve never seen him called that. Only ever seen him billed as “Judo” or “Super Destroyer”.

He's on posters as Kung Fu fighter around the same time. He was in a Tag Team called the kung fu fighters along with Mr Kung Fu himself Eddie Hammell
