Worst time I had on a plane was trying to leave Salt Lake City in summer in an L-1011 and was on the plane for about 2.5 hours before taking off because it kept getting too hot for the amount of fuel on the plane, so we had to return to the gate 3 times to unload fuel. They took out so much fuel, we then had to add a stop to the trip to refuel. It's frustrating and all, but it's nice to know they aren't blowing off safety issues. Also, I traced some of my ancestry back to the Isle of Man...was happy to find there was an Angus in the mix! ;-)

I was on a MD80 once, the pilot went to take off thrust, a third down the runway a loud bang occurred. I ducked my head because I thought the plane broke apart. Idle thrust, aborted takeoff, went back to the gate. They said it was engine compressor stall. After the mechanics looked it over the pilot tried again, and again had engine thrust problems on takeoff. Changed airplanes after much delay, and spent Christmas Eve in a hotel halfway to our destination. Life happens

Ken, it may interest you to know that the Gibb brothers of the Bee Gees fame were born in the Isle of Man and it is a popular tourist destination. It's also famous for the annual TT (Tourist Trophy) motorbike race. Never been there myself, but it's on my bucket list.

There has been a noticeable shift in your style on this channel and the "big channel" lately. Idk what you're doing differently but the videos are flowing so much nicer than they were before.
