Hi - I’m one of those non-FAs who have slipped into the FA vlogsphere to find this channel. These clips go a long way to humanize those who choose this challenging line of work. It might all seem routine, but recent news headlines have shown, it could turn into a critical situation in a matter of seconds and our lives depend on them. Thanks for sharing your travels and backstories.

hi! i’m happy you’ve stumbled upon my videos haha. i’m glad that my videos can show the real side of things, that’s truly what i strive for. yes, our job can be glamorous at times but it’s also a lot of loneliness and having to deal with real life things when you are thousands of miles away from them. i love my job and all the opportunities it has given me but just like any other career, there are always pros and cons. thank you for watching! happy to have another friend over here !

I'm so glad kitty made it through ok! It's 100% worth the money to have extra time with your soul kitty earthside. I was able to keep my soul kitty alive for an extra year with good quality of life and I don't regret a single cent that I spent to have 17 happy years with him. :)

Kendra, my heart goes out to u and Sam and the ever present anxiety that accompanies concern over a dear family member. I have lost 2 partners (the latter one also my hubby). And as awful as those were, STILL, I truthfully have to tell you that the death of my beloved pets are the WORST WORST WORST days of my life. I am seconds from tears anytime I think about their deaths. Yes, my friend, the difficulty we share in turning off our brains and falling to sleep quickly is our normal. And it takes another one of us to empathize with that frustration, especially when an early wake up is required. My first partner and I both could spend hours in a used book shop. Long Beach had some worthwhile ones. Clutter everywhere, which to me makes them even better. You guys take care of each other and the 4 legged blessings you have been given. I think of you often - we are Cali people ❤. Herman

i would love to find some used bookstores in long beach! i’m sure they have some truly lovely ones. i feel for you on the passing of your soul animals 🖤 i don’t know what kind of afterlife might await us after this life but i have to believe that we get to have all of our animals back. i’m sorry for your loss of your partners, i’m sure they know the had such a special life with you. take care of yourself herman and thank you for always supporting my videos 🖤🖤

Hii Kendra!! Thank you for all the insight you give through your videos as life of a FA. I was just wondering how flights are out of SLC? What does a typically monthly credit look like? I really want to be based in SLC but i heard that the flying is a lot less than other bases.
@KendraCus10 ай бұрын
hi! depending on what you’re looking for, flying out of slc can be nice! the trips are lower credit than the other bases i’ve been at and the layover destinations are not as enticing haha but i know so many people who adore slc as a base. i’ve found it to be fairly flexible and most of the people i’ve flown with have been amazing. the airport is new and nice and still feels clean and also nice to commute in and out of (if you have to commute by plane). its much harder to pick up fun trips from slc because there are only the three intxl and then hnl and a seasonal ogg, so senior people rarely drop them because there in high demand already. that being said, depending on what kind of flying you’re looking for, it can be a great base. i don’t want to make it seem like it sucks, because it doesn’t, but i think it really works for some people and then really doesn’t for others. coming from nyc and then seattle, slc was a bit of a culture shock almost because the opportunity for fun flying is much less than those two bases. but there are still so many other great things about slc. haha sorry that was a long winded answer. i’m happy to answer any more questions too! safe flying🖤
