If you were born into an obese family you will more likely be obese because your obese family taught you how to cook and what you should eat. Those obese family members are also lying or in denial about their weight and health issues. This is all learned behavior which is very difficult to unlearn. Imagine trying to break that generational curse? All those obese people turning on you for not wanting to be like them, for wanting to change and live a healthier life. Turning on your only support system is difficult, having them abandon you because you want to better yourself is a tragedy. That is her reality.

I say this as a medical student and as someone who could use to drop a few pounds. As Kendra said, big boned is not a real thing. Now someone may have a higher bone density but you can’t see that from the outside. So no ma’am, you’re just overweight period. As for the hypertension, TECHNICALLY skinny people can get HBP we all know being overweight is the most significant cause of HBP with diet following closely behind. Of course this is assuming no other significant abnormalities. This lady is making excuses and I don’t wanna hear it. Oh and also, being pregnant/having children isn’t an excuse to be obese. Gaining some weight is normal but to be obese and say it’s because I had a baby is more likely than not, a lie. Being pregnant simply speeds up habits you have that would’ve lead to obesity anyway.

Also her lack of mobility is causing weight gain. THAT plus her having 2 kids back go back has contributed to her weight gain. You can't lose weight if you can't move. As a person with a stroke, it inhibits your ability to be active. It's definitely a challenge to lose weight under those circumstances.

Well I would say, she is currently sedentary after having multiple strokes and heart attacks so unless she is eating clean, losing the weight will be a challenge. I do agree that she needs to be in the reality of where her health is, but I think she has a lot going on. Hopefully, in the future she can make better decisions for her health.

@@jaylen5280 laziness, bad eating habits, depression and I used to drink alot of alcohol regularly. I was also on the implant which is when I actually started gaining weight. There can be many factors but it is usually down to diet and physical activity as you know, just remember that some people go through things that lead them to comfort eat and even develop eating disorders from doing so. It's a slippery slope

As someone who has had 2 brain surgeries, I can say that having brain injuries can change your priorities and the way you think. When your brain is injured you become slightly like a kid again. She needs to work on her physical and mental health.. What she went through was traumatizing..
