Just watched all 4 parts of this interview. Straight up, I did not get the hype on Kendrick after GKMC, and I didnt like his voice, flow, any of that. Only really heard him on collab songs. After TPAB was getting incredible reviews, again I didnt understand why. I listened to it, and it won me over. Im a huge funk/soul fan, so the beats true me in right away. But since then, his style, stories, etc won me over. Now Im listening to all of his albums, realizing I've been sleeping on a dude who has such an idea, message, and delivery in his music. So much more to it than just music. A true artist.
