Another great video. GKMC was an experience to me growing up. As young black kid growing up, I listened to a lot of rap but the moment I heard good kid for the first time I was flooded with emotions cause I felt like a rapper was finally speaking to me. Sing about me had me in tears the first time I heard it. Sadly, death's always been a huge part of my life, from murders to illness. I was 16 by the first time I heard the album & my father was the latest to go. He had MS. We bonded off of hip-hop. My oldest brother was murdered 4 years before that. I was left with such a bittersweet feeling after I heard the song but that third verse was so cathartic to me at that time. Idkw but it made me closer to music like this. Made me feel less alone.

i was fortunate enough to see kendrick in concert for the mr morale and the big steppers tour and no joke i spent half the concert with tears in my eyes as i (and literally the entire packed stadium) danced to every single song. there were people on the stairs smoking blunts, dancing with their partners etc. while kendrick performed bitch don't kill my vibe and it was arguably the most amazing experience i've ever had in my life. he is such a musical genius, man, and an AMAZING performer. the concert lasted for almost 3 and a half hours of him performing -- every single song (not counting interludes) on his new album, and everything anyone else could ask for. i feel like i got to witness one of the greats of this period of humanity -- like i was seeing beethoven in person or something. absolutely incredible edit: seeing you cry to 'the art of peer pressure' brought tears to my eyes. this is a great example of just how fucking amazing kendrick is. the ability to tie our completely unique experiences together in a way that invokes serious emotion in all of us is so amazing. you're loved, path

You said in either this or the mr morale reaction that you wear your heart on your sleeve and now I'm constantly thinking about how true that is, with every word and emotions of your reactions. When you're starting to cry - seemingly out of nowhere, before you explain something super personal that just makes me feel for you. I hope you're ok. Even in your most vulnerable moments, you're focusing on protecting and looking out for your young audience. I hope you're ok. I could write so much more about my thoughts, but they're all very similar just written in different ways; you're one of the most caring people on this planet. Whatever success you have, you deserve more. Whatever fulfilment you feel, you deserve more. And if the universe doesn't give it to you right away when you wish for more, you have over hundred thousand people that will wish for you. Thank you for doing these reactions. This was reality for my cousins and best friends growing up in tough parts of Philly or Reading PA while I by a stroke of luck was born to the part of the family tree that made it out. This album is like a piece of some of them for me. A way to always have the loved ones I lost who tried their best to be the good kid but either couldn't make it out alive or are doing time behind bars. I loved the narrative perspective of yours to that reaction. Its very unique way to express the thought about a album espicially this goated album. It gives the vibe of documentary. Thats way good work , keep doing ❤

I think Compton being the last song is a sign of Kendricks acceptance of his city despite the many many faults it has, as he raps about those fault like police and ambulance sirens and making them characteristics of the city like tall buildings and flashing lights are for New York

Your commentary style is so nice to listen to as a first time listener. I enjoyed listening to and being walked through your thoughts as the songs came and went. Kendrick is one of my favorites and I can’t explain how much I love his thought process and music. You are very good definitely will be a regular watcher maybe commenter 🙏🏾 wish the best

I love all of these videos so much. I never got to have the experience of properly listening to this album for the first time and alot of others because I didn't have the attention span to just sit down and listen to an album, I would add it to my playlist and just listen to it in a mixed order, so seeing people react to this for the first time is rlly cool to see. Thank you for these videos, and for making reaction content that isn't theft.

One of my favorite albums of all time. The story telling, creative flows, and straight bangers 🔥 Like watching a movie with your ears!

So glad you reacted to this! It's always great to see people's first thoughts and raw emotions while listening to this album. I'm also really glad you didn't skip Compton like other youtubers did as that song really ties the whole album together. Can't wait to see your reactions to TPAB and DAMN

These reactions are great I cant wait for more and personally I think Sing about me might be his best song. Also a Saba - Care For Me reaction would be amazing.

I usually get touched when listening to this album (and other music), yet rarely moved to tears. But for some reason your reaction to and hearing the transition between Swimming Pools and Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst just made me bawl. Thank you, Path, for this reaction and your sincerity.

I really enjoy watching you enjoy these albums. Kendricks music is thought provoking and the way you break it all down and explain certain parts with the occasional relatability is just a great way to connect with us and make the viewer feel like we are listening to the music for the first time again. Keep being you. Much love ✌️

I love seeing someone experiencing Kendricks music and diving into all of the details and meanings. I get this feeling like it was me on your place listening to it for the first time again and it's wonderful. It's been 8 years since I've listened to this masterpiece for the first time and Sing About Me still always gets me.

Sing about me might be the most ive ever cried because of any movie or song the moment it hit was when the gunshots happened and he went straight into the incredibly emotional chorus. Hands down my favorite kendrick song

Just listened to GKMC for the first time and immediately came to watch this. I totally got what you felt at the end of Swimming Pools. The next one just made me sad all the way through. I’m gonna listen to DAMN. next and then watch your reaction after a few weeks when I’ve properly digested GKMC. Keep making content❤❤

Wow. I connected with you during the chorus of Money Trees. It's exactly how I felt when i first heard that song. So refreshing to experience that moment again. Takes me back. Kendrick and Anna Wise's harmonizing is so mesmerizing. They work well together. She's also on a few songs on the To Pimp a Butterfly album.

You may think that you don't say a lot during your listening but this format is just perfect for you and us because you gather most of your thoughts on the editing afterwards while i can still understand just by watching you what that specific part made you feel or what you thought when he said that idk how to explain it but i just have the same kind of vibe so i feel like i can tell this stuff and i think a lot of people feel the same way here, definitely one of the best music reactors on youtube :)

I just discovered you today with this reaction because I’ve been binge watching previous Kendrick album reactions, and I fortunately came across your channel. You’re unlike any other reactor I’ve seen and am a huge fan of your commentary and unique perspective on everything. It’s amazing how quick you pick up on the wordplay and story. Keep doing your thing!🙌🙌 P.S. The whole time watching this I was thinking, path is not ready for ‘Sing About Me’😂
