Saw him in Oakland last month. Man is a fucking genius. His newer stuff won't be chart toppers, but he's just on an untouchable level right now with Steppers. Who knew by 30 this man would already be one of the greatest to ever do it. The breath control, the storytelling, the visuals, the message...As complete as they come. Love myself some K dot

the way Kendrick has evolved is amazing to see. the way he's developed into a showman is nuts. putting on a production and a show. incorporating choreography and performance, he's really honing into his own personal brand of artistry and creativity beyond just Hip-Hop's "savior messiah" figure.

Broski. He did that shit LIVE. His rapping is crisp and heard right. My ears feel like they be ringing!

sort of.. the vocal track we're actually hearing is a playback of a recorded take from before the show went to air. still impressive nonetheless, but there are several parts where it is blatantly obvious that he is lip syncing to a pre-recorded track. and please understand that I say this with absolutely zero disrespect, I still find it to be super impressive because the vocal track is in fact a live recording. that is definitely not the studio vocal track. In the performance, Kendrick even seems to acknowledge it at about 3:07 when he flashes the message on the wall that says "YEA WE STILL PLAYING INDUSTRY POLITICS".
