Well done this was a good watch. I enjoyed your story telling and determination required to reach the site.. Interesting boy up there, maybe he reached the pinnacle of life and couldn't find another reason to keep looking for fires or maybe it was spotted fever. I think it's something every viewer can take away from. see you next time and happy hiking

Thank you so much.. you folks do some good work over there. Its nice that there are people out there that know how important our local history is. My big thing is why is this mountain named this or that creek named that...then ya start going down worm holes. Another part of me wonders if maybe it was hazing gone wrong. The seasoned rangers messing with the new summer worker. But thats a huge accussation. And i believe the head ranger at Raven Ranger Station was Morris Davis....and he's kind of a legend around here. But i say even legends can be surrounded by some bad apples.

Oh awesome ...we have a lot of beautiful country up here. Blitz is 100% Alaskan Malamute and he weighs only 130lbs. His fluffy fur is what make him look so big. He gets a haircut next Thursday...so he wont look like a hippy any more. lol

I like it, you put a lot of effort into these, thanks for the history lesson. I get a creepy feeling at Rainbow lake, every time I am there, so I don't go anymore. Somebody is in there. Gonna have to check the LO this summer.

Hmmmm...interesting i didnt get any weird vibes up their at Rainbow lake...rahter than the damn ravens kept circling me. Yeah i was extremely disapointed to see the ol girl lying there all disheveled. Thanks for watching and commenting....as much as i love doing these it is work...so always nice when someone notices the work.

Good thing it didn’t come down on you when you were all snug and warm inside. Hate becoming an interesting part of other peoples’ KZbin videos that way. Great video. Good theory on the cause of death also. And the fire during the interview, as if sitting by it telling stories - nice touch.
@hyoh-wu8 ай бұрын
Yeah when i told someone i planned on sleeping in the lookout they told me dont. They were up there in summer of 2023 and said it looked like she was about to come down....and i had saw pictures and it looked in rough shape....but as always pictures dont show the whole story. Weird thing was when i started talking about the suicide attempts i got a weird cold feeling and goose bumps...kinda shocked me a bit...u can see when it happens cause i kinda awkwardly look up and over to the right. But im sure it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

Third time is a charm, but you should’ve brought your snowshoes the first two times. Ha ha. Too bad the structure collapsed in the winter. Interesting story too. Also, I had no idea they were still actively manned fire lookouts anymore. that was a bit surprising to me.
@hyoh-wu8 ай бұрын
Madman with the solutions. Lol! I have no excuse of why i didnt...rather than the winter was so weird here and this is a south facing slope for the most part and wasnt expexting any snow....and it was weird...it was al clear trail and i literaly came around a corner the fisrt time and BAM! horrible blow down and snow. Yeah Its crazy about the lookouts. And i came across the Hegg story when I was looking to see how Kenelty Mountain got its name.

You put a lot of effort into this one good job. I'm going to call BS on the haunting, at least by that kid that killed himself because he died in Minnesota. If you believe in ghosts why would a ghost travel all the way back to Montana?
@birddogfarms69818 ай бұрын
It's not like he has to take a bus to get back....OR, maybe the place was already haunted, which is why the kid went fruit loops! Hmmmmm.........
