@@cheesejuice_ I don’t see any issue with having a secondary purely for utility and status application. Not every story awarded weapon after the Nataruk *has* to be the Nataruk or better. If everything was focused purely on damage and KPS all the time for the rest of the game’s lifespan, it’d get stale and boring rather fast

Grimoire has some decent synergy with Zephyr. Shooting her tornado counts as hitting all the enemies in the tornado, allowing you to recharge your Alt Fire in an instant. Further, Turbulence can make your Alt move faster, and grouping enemies together with the Tornado or Airburst makes it easier to hit enemies with either fire mode.

God, rotation C on Mirror Defense is so horrendously miserable. Frankly, I feel like Mirror Defense really shouldn't have stuck to the AABC pattern of reward pools, because this makes it the single slowest rotation in the entire bloody game, even slower than survival, whilst at the same time you have to play a lot better because it's way easier to fail.

Considering the extremely slow farming rate (5% * 8 every 25 minutes) my farming strategy for them has been "wait till DE makes proper drop tables or buy the pack when Dante releases if they are useful on him" For mods that only go on a single weapon (and soon a single exalted weapon), they sure are a pain to get, especially considering they are the main reason to even use that one weapon

It's much faster to farm 140 platinum and straight up buy them from the market, that's what I did. At this point in the game (after obtaining the Grimoire) you should have a ton of easy and reliable Platinum farms, so getting 140 plat is no trouble.

I find it best to treat Grindy game modes like this as a leveler’s paradise, forma something watch it level up over the course of the runs. Get tome mod every 5x runs. Rinse and repeat. I am so glad that we now have a wide range of options in the secondary slot, just yesterday I went back and checked out some other secondaries since I was getting a little too attached to this book. Back in the day it didn’t used to be like this where there was only one option for dps and that’s it.

This + Breach Surge + Augmented passive Frost - SP lvl 200+ crowd destroying The only bad thing - it's little bit less effective against Eximus and definetly not effective against really tough enemies (Necramechs/Stalkers/Demos), so you must pick a burst dps nuker against them But God how I love this book not only for decent damage for a kind of primer weapon, but also for double Zenurik energy regeneration

I don't have any of the invocations or canticles yet, so instead I abuse the infinite ammo and auto trigger to really abuse +fire speed from buffs like Harrow and/or Duviri. Just spraying shock balls everywhere

I'm not sure if that has been fixed or not, or if its even a bug, but fire rate buff from Lohk works on Necramechs, and buffs Arquebex too, not very practical, but still its one of few buffs that actually work on necramechs,

60% from grimoire is hardly kicking anything off when Molt Vigor, Augmented, Umbral Intensify and Power Ramp have been enabling subsuming Pillage onto everything for quite a while, and the strawberry shards only added to it. Invocation lacks the consistency and isn’t attached to the warframe that needs it so it’s more of a bonus to ability damage or healing bonuses than something that pushes strips, DR or slows to the cap

I found an absolutely nasty grimoire build that decimates SP and even netracell content. It quickly became my favorite secondary. And no, I'm not sharing my build. I'm going to savor this for as long as I can until others discover it and DE nerfs it into the ground. Because it is absolutely busted.

Its got its own niche, but it doesn't replace all secondaries. which is good. use this with Gyre or Volt, and you'll have a good time. that's without the Tome specific mods too, btw. I got the Jahu one and so far its served me well enough. people should stop griping and get to farming. Or not, its your lives. ....just get on with them.

Really bold of DE to gate the upgrades that set the Grimoire apart from other weapons behind a game mode that they know many players really dislike. And then to leave out the pity system that prevented Tyana Pass from being a massive time sink is really just the cherry on the F.U. cake. I guess the upside is that if you don’t mind spending 3 hours playing steel path Tyana Pass, you can get enough crystals to buy a R5 Arcane Steadfast/Secondary Encumber which’ll sell for more than enough plat to buy the Tome Mod Bundle from the in game market.

The amounts of platinum these items were sold at some point surpassed the amount of platinum required to buy it from the market it's a fools errand to buy these I would much rather farm munio for sum extra currency cuz you will need it for other parts of the game anyway!! Scummy implementation. Have a cool new weapon with its own mods. The next warframe will be built around this by the way. The way to get them? Purely rare random drop from 20 minutes of the least fun mission type with no pity system. Orrrr.... you could pay platinum. Scummy DE. Very scummy. I am a founder and have played on and off since then. I have bought platinum in that time and admired DE's ethical stance in the free to play realm. This is a dirty, slimy, shady step, wriggling their toes over the line. Do not carry water for them over this BS.

eh, its not that bad.. this mod pack was really easy to farm the plat for, esp if you were playing the day the content came out. the melee arcanes were selling for like 50pl each at laaunch, literally just killed the tome boss 4 times and was able to buy it easy.

Toilet Paper Prime It just sucks cus it has to be equipped. Not worth a gun but you do you, just press dmg ability to nuke all. All canticles are trash. All grouping abilities are trash but you cant even use this without them. Garbage gun for garbage frames. Buff timers are way too short and aparently Heat doesnt even count as dmg from tome for upkeep purposes.

This thing sucks at killing stuff anyway so why even bother boosting its damage at all beyond some status and pure set bonus boosting? might as well contribute to shield gating builds and making the alt fire slightly bigger
