Finally found some time to work on this! This collab stream was amazing and full of hilarious moments. Also props to Nononon for winning after studying Mahjong for just a week! Hareru played big, risky hands and paid for it in the end, while Kohi went unscathed almost every round. And Kano could've won... if she didn't have every girl defending against her... Anyway, great stream, feel free to leave a like or comment for them and show them your support!

Jesus, the tension was so high that if they were in an actual mahjong table they would have pulled pistols on each other
@maurotula4 жыл бұрын
@Moral Relativism Its quite complicated to explain here. Not only you need to set up your tiles (4 sets + 1 pair) but also be careful not to discard into the opponents sets. Its very luck based.
@maurotula4 жыл бұрын
@Moral Relativism its a very bad joke. Kano raised the stakes with a punishment game and in the video you can tell everyone was panicking quite a bit during their discards (hoping they wouldnt be called by others since it couldd mean they'd have to pay the entire score if it was a winning tile). The joke is that if they were in an actual table, they would threaten the others not to call their discards... with a gun usually.
@PrinceJr-oj7sq4 жыл бұрын
@@maurotula How is it a bad joke? I could literally envision it, complete with cigarettes and fedoras and the briefcases filled with cash on a side table.
@maurotula4 жыл бұрын
@@PrinceJr-oj7sq i had to explain it so i assumed it was bad or not clear. And yeah, thats kinda how i envisioned it, all standing up (Kano on a stool to be at same height) pulling large pistols (just to contrast their petite sizes) on each other after one or other tile discard

I only had time to watch the first half or so of this live, but I'm not really surprised Nononon won in the end. Her plays consistently made the most sense of the four of them and I never would have known she'd only started playing a week ago if she hadn't mentioned it herself. Nice choices for a highlights reel too

@Graestra4 жыл бұрын
muhajaya if you want to learn there are a some anime and manga about it. The only one I’ve seen that I can recommend is Saki, which is about a big high school girls’ mahjong tournament. As it goes on it becomes more supernatural with the characters able to pull off very rare and unrealistic things with consistency, so it’s not a perfect representation of mahjong, but it’s cool. Also the game the they are playing, Mahjong Soul, is pretty good for beginners to learn as it highlights a lot of information that you would normally need to keep track of yourself. It’s free and can be played in a browser as well as a mobile app. And for actually learning how to play there should be some resources on r/mahjong
