hey folks, sorry for the huge hiatus. my life has taken a turn for the worse since last year and i lost most of my love for music. i lost both jobs, my mother is dying in a hospital bed and i've been in a depressed slump, drinking and playing minecraft all day. i don't know when or if i'll ever feel like finding and buying new tunes, and i've been proscratinating to upload my music backlog since uhh 2021 i think. if anyone has any music recommendations for someone who's in the worst moment of their life, please let me know (bandcamp links preferred). idk if i'll upload anything for the moment, but i just want to enjoy music again. thanks for reading, take care, don't drink or do drugs, i hope this channel has made your days better sometimes

It took me almost 30 years to realize when I fell in love with nature sounds and ambient. It was Amiga game The Settlers. Sound of stream and birds were ahead of it's time, often neglected in bigger games.

Thank you for posting this! I just returned home from the hospital Sunday from having heart surgery. Today was a tough day and I needed rest. My brother sent me another Kenichiro Isoda album and I played it on my 5.1 setup in my room, so soothing and relaxing. I woke up to this song after resting for over an hour, it was a wonderful way to wake up. Very beautiful, much like calm Final Fantasy music. Really made a big difference to my day!

I get the feeling of solitude in this kind of music that I want to make a poet out of it. So, here it goes. Ahh, the people I hold so dear One by one, slowly disappear Why am I the only one to suffer? If I'm the only that can remember? The winds of time whispers to me This place we all yearn to be Slowly crumbles from you to me Everything looks like sunset to me Wondering how I can still be free Free from this emptiness Free from this loneliness

The last few years have been so terribly difficult for me, but i keep going, because i know that even though i feel like i cannot impact things i way I'd like to, i can still witness with the compassion to appreciate things, even amidst the despair and pain, the wind, the clouds, water, sunlight, just appreciating things like that can help lighten the way and keep the weight from collapsing you. Please reach out to me here if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, I'll be here.

i found this channel after escaping for a hell that was intern under a misogynistic and homophobic boss. i was then designated to an unpaid internship in school where i didnt really have to do anything. before this all happened i was really burnt out to begin with. in the end, i didnt make anything out of my internship but a passing grade. a lot more was going on behind the scenes and i was recovering from smth like ptsd cuz of the first internship. i couldnt get through most of my days but this album helped me get away mentally. i know running isnt always the best option but it definitely was better than everything else i couldve thought of at the moment.

Here's some comfort if you need some, from a fellow member of the community. I started listening to Japanese ambient music after a pretty ugly summer- my soul was ripped to shreds. Hope you find a place that cherishes and values you as you are and provides you with a living wage. ❤
@ShinnoEli7 ай бұрын
Honestly, sometimes running genuinely is the best move. Making a habit out of it can be pretty self-defeating, but there are some situations that will destroy parts of you that you need very badly (assuming they don't straight-up kill you), and in those situations, getting out is what matters. So yes, picking your retreats is just as important as picking your battles, as far as I'm concerned. I'm very glad you managed to get away mentally, and I hope it's helped you heal from that first internship and get stronger again. If it hasn't yet, I bet it will, so definitely take all the time you need, and be good to yourself.

Hi there, My channel is not monetized and I also hate ads. Unfortunately, KZbin is now placing ads in music videos - allegedly, the profits go to the recording labels that own the music copyrights. Sadly there's nothing I can do about it. But consider using an adblocker, as I've said before I make zero money off these ads and I also want them gone but it is what it is. I hate digital advertising
