Thank you both for a beautiful & relaxing adventure. 💚 Your videos are so relaxing... they cancel out the "noise" of everyday life...I appreciate you both ❤❤❤

That's exactly why we go camping in the first place. We're so glad we can share it. It's makes us happy it comes across as we experience it ourselves.

Great video, can't wait to start my adventures. I'll have to go back and watch your other videos to get destination inspiration. Can I ask, what do you do with the ash and coals afterwards when camping off grid? 👍
@ontheroadaustralia3 күн бұрын
Thanks a lot. We've never really had a fire where there wasn't an old fire ring to leave the ashes in. We always wait until the coals are cold before we leave to be safe. Good luck on your future travels, feel free to ask for any tips or recommendations.

How good is the bakery at Kenilworth? Top shelf. Had to laugh at how shiny your fire pit is/was. We’ve had ours a while now and it’s definitely lost its sheen. Works well though!

The donuts are definitely a must if you're there. It was the christening of the fire pit, don't think it will look that clean again. 😆

I must admit that this is the first time I’ve watched your channel and I like it, you two seem to be a cool couple. I’ve watched many many KZbin channels like yours and must say that people will soon become sick of watching silent films, there seems to be no interaction between you two. I’m not putting you down I just think that you should add some dialogue in your videos, like you two talking to each other and bounce off each other, it would add so much more depth to your videos. I know a lot of people find it hard to talk to the viewers but once you get over your fears of that it will become second nature. Sorry about the rant guys but I do like what you do and would like like to see your channel grow and I think if you do that it will go ahead leaps and bounds. Good luck guys 😄. Smile guys your supposed to be having fun 😁

In some cases. Perhaps when it’s a tutorial style video. But in this case their pictures paint a thousand words and speaking would add little. I enjoyed the serenity and absence of waffling on.

Thanks so much we really appreciate your kind words. We're torn because we can see both sides of the argument, but we're extremely grateful that you like the original format we chose. We really want to show the peaceful side of camping, glad it's coming across as we intended.

Can I ask about how you manage water consumption? How big are your tanks and how long can you stay off grid etc?

The jayco comes with 160L and we have another 40L in jerry cans. It really depends on our showers. We usually aim for around 4 days, but we've never run out. Wiki camps app is great for finding a fill up point, and definitely get a tap key from bunnings. There are taps everywhere if you're bold.

Hey guys loving the vids may I ask what brand of table you use thanks
@ontheroadaustralia2 күн бұрын
Thanks heaps The weber table is a cheap one from supercheap auto, and our other one is a San Hima table. We got it given to us, but we really like it. The adjustable legs are a game changer.
