Wow, what an amazingly overgrown channel there. I kept asking why you didn't remove the big log, then saw that it went about 2m through the dam. And then it got swept away when it collapsed! Awesome work!

I love that initial rush of water and the crackling of the sticks and twigs when it first collapses. If the runoff could think I bet it would be something like "Wait a min... WHOA!! Where'd THAT come from!?! AHHHHHH!!!!" 🤣

Thanks Mantas for another great video. Great that you keep on top of things so that the beavers aren't as much of a problem as they could be. All part of nature's balancing act in which beavers are both hero and villain. Keep up the fantastic work.

The amount of water and mud you get heading down stream is becoming more impressive. You are finding bigger areas to drain. Now you need to find trappers to thin out the beavers. From the rebuild time there is a very big population of the rodents. Another job well done.

If you've ever spent much time by standing water in beaver ponds you'd know the mosquitoes 🦟 are vicious. Hoodie is a must. Used to have to drain pond on property her in Montana.
@MikkelltheimmortalАй бұрын
I was looking into the behaviour of Beavers and I learned that biologists are fairly certain that beavers don't reuse the sticks because the dam failed so they think they are not good for a dam. That is from the Canadian ministry of Wildlife and Forests. Since we can't ask the beavers directly that's the best answer that they are able to come to

if you ever have the chance to find two or three dams in a row, weaken all 3 (or however many there are) and get the upmost dam first and try to get the wave to break the others downstream.

But you could have seen The Boss and crew in Helsinki on july 12th for a 3.5 hour set instead of 2 hours with Coldplay. Or gone to Sweden Norway, Germany or even Finland for a high energy performance. Who was watching Roberta the Elfa while tėtis and mama play? Great job, as always. One day a beaver is going to bite you or drop a tree on your head😮.
