You know how power creeped we are when you rewatch this and realize how 30000+ power and 2 criticals is pretty much a normal occurance.

It would have been hilarious right when Kenji was attacking with the great music and stuff that Ren pulls out a perfect guard.

@@MrJuan_Vzla Because it makes you look like an asshole and tournaments are all about being respectful with your opponent. If you say final turn and win you’re just rubbing salt in the wound but if you lose you become the biggest clown in the tournament.

@@MrJuan_Vzla People in tournaments were being complete assholes saying "Final Turn" so Bushi issued a tournament ruling to never say "Final Turn" because it's considered an unsportsmanlike gesture.

people dont realize what the joke is, only koutei wins lmao the rest 2 are losers
@razumahiroki9216 Жыл бұрын
To be fair the other two were facing National level Vanguard players, especially Kai would stomp anyone whose name isn't Leon, Ren and Aichi.
@nedrostram2360 Жыл бұрын
@@razumahiroki9216 It’s still a joke. Koutei barely won against Ren who deliberately used an incompatible deck (Tetsu’s Dark Irregulars). If Ren didn’t hold back he would have won easily. Later he gets schooled by Leon even after he gets reversed.
@razumahiroki9216 Жыл бұрын
@@nedrostram2360 There is a clear difference between using a different deck and deliberately holding by not going full out, we both know it's the former, Ren's true strength comes from his Dark Paladin deck. However, he was clearly not holding back against Kotei while using Tetsu's deck. Winning against Ren in-universe is still impressive, even with an incompatible deck he still retains the same skills that everyone is afraid of. We are talking about the very same Leon who is closest to match a serious Ren besides Aichi and Reversed Kai, cornering the same Leon doesn't make him a joke, on the contrary it's impressive (Despite being amped).
@nedrostram2360 Жыл бұрын
@@razumahiroki9216 Ren still had a difficult time working with the deck and self admitted it was incompatible for him. Also without Psyqualia or his usual serious drive, Ren wasn’t at full power. Also it’s not that Koutei shouldn’t have lost to Leon, but rather how the writers treat Koutei by making him lose to a stronger character for every time he is on screen.
@razumahiroki9216 Жыл бұрын
@@nedrostram2360 I wasn't denying that part. However, it's not what holding back means in this context. Since he was clearly going full out while using Tetsu's deck. If he were to use his Shadow Paladin deck, well, of course he would lose. But it doesn't make his win any less impressive. I noticed the pattern as well. Kotei only loses to National level fighters; Kai, Ren, Leon, and Ratie (He lost against Christopher, but post AC Kotei should be stronger than him).
