The thing that gets me about old Karen’s is how they contribute to social interaction problems. Like, just because when you were young and had to put up with all types of bullshit doesn’t mean today’s/future generations are going to tolerate the same thing. To get respect, you have to give it because it’s a two way street! You think I want myself or one of my loved ones to enable bad behavior just because you’re older and have that old school mindset? No! We want better, so we’re doing things to make it change for the better. Don’t preach about not being given respect when you’re being down right disrespectful and feel entitled because of your age. Would you want your younger family to put up with the shit you put up with today? No? The same logic applies to the rest of people! The world will continue to change, so either get with the times or be a decent human being that stays in their own lane.

The machete thing is a normal occurrence in my town. People will record shii going down and post it to our towns Facebook page. Sometimes you drive round and see SWAT out. When I asked about how abnormal our swat activity was, they said for how small we are it’s too common. My sisters been swatted twice, once intentionally and the second time she walked by the wrong house at the wrong time

22:45 I haven’t worked retail in a couple of years but besides the reasons you mentioned there is one other factor to not taking money. Sometimes, the service who takes cash to/from the business (those really heavy duty trucks) and deposits it is unreliable or raises it’s rates which means the business loses money just for accepting cash. There are also cases in which an establishment will stop taking cash short term if they are unable to give change. I love watching Karens 😂
