hi everybody!! i hope you like my college move in vlog! if you didn't know, i'm a sophomore but this is my first year living on campus because of covid. last year, all of my classes were online and i lived at home. i'm super excited to be in a new environment. however, i was extremely homesick at first. i still am a little bit, but it's been getting a lot better. if you are in my same position, please know that you are not alone and that things will get better. ♥️

i’m a senior in college right now but i was so so so homesick my first year especially my first semester. it can feel so lonely at times but you just need to stick it out because it is so worth it! it definitely gets better

I totally understand how you feel! I am so much older than you but whenever i move and have to get used to the new environment and everything it's not easy at all. It feels so scary that i am alone here and have to do everything on my own. Being an adult is not an easy thing!

It gets better!!! Moving away from home for the first time is so draining & scary, and you have every right to feel sad or nervous. And sometimes it’ll be lonely, the first year is always the hardest to settle in. But in this first year you’ll learn new things about yourself you never knew & you’ll figure out how to adapt. But for now just take things day by day, really prioritize taking care of yourself instead of distracting yourself! Also there are so many resources on campus, #1 rule of college is to ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS. No matter how stupid the question might seem or if you’re nervous to ask, there are people there willing to help you , because every year 100s or thousands of kids move into college and have just as much of a difficult time as you might. Every part of this experience is normal & all your feelings are valid ✨💖 I promise it gets better, for now just allow yourself to feel how you need to. & try new things, have fun, be yourself! - from a 23 year old graduate 😌

im starting my first year of high school this september, but for the past 2.5 years, i would watch peoples dorm move ins a couple months before the school year starts bc i was thinking of the future, but now that im entering high school i feel like its happeninng to fast and soon ill be doing the same thing..
