I totally understand how you feel! I am so much older than you but whenever i move and have to get used to the new environment and everything it's not easy at all. It feels so scary that i am alone here and have to do everything on my own. Being an adult is not an easy thing!

It gets better!!! Moving away from home for the first time is so draining & scary, and you have every right to feel sad or nervous. And sometimes it’ll be lonely, the first year is always the hardest to settle in. But in this first year you’ll learn new things about yourself you never knew & you’ll figure out how to adapt. But for now just take things day by day, really prioritize taking care of yourself instead of distracting yourself! Also there are so many resources on campus, #1 rule of college is to ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS. No matter how stupid the question might seem or if you’re nervous to ask, there are people there willing to help you , because every year 100s or thousands of kids move into college and have just as much of a difficult time as you might. Every part of this experience is normal & all your feelings are valid ✨💖 I promise it gets better, for now just allow yourself to feel how you need to. & try new things, have fun, be yourself! - from a 23 year old graduate 😌

Bro I just like JUST moved into my college dorm like 32 days ago and on the like thing where you share you likings and stuff and I matched up with this girl and I got a regular one where you have boys have girls with the connecting door and bro it was so hard bc I only packed a few hoodies/sweaters and the laundry rooms where packed and then I realized that my mom taught me how to wash clothes without electricity so I was washing my clothes in the shower sometimes so now everyday I wake up at 4:30 bc my college starts at 6:45 well breakfast is 6:45-7:00 then I have classes and 4:30-5:30 is like dressing up showering doing make hair and getting ready but Bible time first but it’s so easy if you don’t have an anxiety of talking to people it should be fine to make friends and trust me pick a dorm without a bunk bed it’s such more comfy to have side and side and I’ve gotten used to it and I have great mornings

I loved living in the dorms during my undergrad years. I cried one tear drop when i left the dorms. My advice is to be open-minded, respectful, and make a roommate agreement with your RA present.
