hey kenna! college senior here, one of my best tips for making friends in college is always arrive a few minutes early! this makes time for you to settle in and sit down next to someone you might want to be friends with. i know it can be nerve racking but something i always remind myself of is most people don’t know anyone and want to make connections!

i always struggled with making friends bc of my social anxiety, and especially with the online classes i couldnt do it. i know its hard to talk to people especially with lectures, but what works for me is asking their name, maybe if this is the first time theyre going to college, asking what major theyre in, and also during the lecture just kinda whispering to them like small things about the lecture that are relatable (?), like, the teacher talks so much, or do you understand, this is boring, this is interestig

something I found useful to make friends at the beginning of the year is to ask to sit next to someone that looks nice and just start talking about what you are excited to do after school or this school year (if that makes any sense at all) 💗

I am also a junior thats commuter at a big school ! I usually like to attend office hours, do work at the student centers/library, read a book, or even attend events that other clubs are hosting to pass time during that big break between classes. I hope these ideas help !! I even get my nails done during that big break too LOL

Such a sweet video! My best advice on meeting people on campus is joining a a club or going to event on campus. Last year I was a transfer student and didn’t know anyone until I joined two clubs. I know you are super busy with school + KZbin but I think it would be worth it. Good luck this semester!!

When I was in college, I would just walk up to people and ask what they were working on. I would also ask their major (if i didn't know) and ask how their (1st,2nd,3d,4th) year was going. Then everything would organically grow from there. I now have friends forever and they're literally the best people i know! I hope this helps! Love your videos!!! ❤❤
