Hearts performance of stairway to heaven with Jason on drums in front of them is just so emotional ! The performance is the best by far of any cover . Its stands alone as a performance all on its own and not a cover just a performance. It's so amazing and emotional and of course one of the greatest songs thats there has ever been ! Peace n love from down under ( Australia )

The really cool thing about Jason being there is the the members of Led Zeppelin had asked him to attend the show with them. He fibbed and told them that he had a gig he couldn't get out of - knowing full-well that he'd been asked to be part of the tribute. This explains the "you cheeky devil" look on Robert Plant's face when Jason's introduced.

Thank you for playing the entire tribute. I think you are the only reactor to react to the full version. Again thank you for that. Yes the look in Robert's eyes, so much emotion, and John Paul Jones, you could see the pride. And Jimmy was really admiring every note with a big smile. Then when they each had eye contact with Jason at the end it was so emotional. I like yourself, got very emotional and shed some tears. Tears of joy, tears of emptiness, tears of pride, and tears of love. Led Zeppelin, The Greatest Band to ever Grace the Stage... They were then, They are Today, And will Forever be Tomorrow... In the year 2121 the alien nation will be rocking out to Led Zeppelin. Timeless music masterpieces. Desde. 4 master musicians the likes this world will never see again. The stars were all aligned when destiny brought them together. RIP... JOHN HENRY BONHAM. (BONZO) You can feel the loss the band was feeling seeing Jason up on the stage. "While you're in hell, the human race will cherish your heavenly jams till the end of time. It's a small price to pay." Everyone played wonderfully and that ending... just awesome. Thank you for the ENTIRE show!!! It was refreshing for me to see Dave play percussion again...going back to his roots. Very, very talented musician. Lenny killed it. Heart...what can you say? To perform in such a manner to bring tears to Robert, an ear-to-ear permanent grin from Jimmy, and a self-assured nod from John Paul (who has worked with Ann, Nancy, and Heart as a producer and collaborator) is indeed worthy of the highest praise. It should be noted that several days prior to this performance, Plant had asked Jason Bonham to work with him on a project. Bonham had to decline, stating a prior commitment. That is the explanation for Jason pointing to Robert upon his introduction, and Robert shaking a finger at Jason. The two have had a lifelong bond.

I was a senior in high school when I was fortunate enough to attend the February 3rd, 1975 concert at Madison Square Garden. It was their Physical Graffiti tour. If I said it was one of the best nights of my life, it would be consistent with who I am, as everyone that knows me, knows that I always keep it REAL. They opened with Kashmir, which none of us ever had ever heard as the album wasn’t released yet to my knowledge. We were all completely mesmerized. The song went on forever, and that beat, that god damn addicting beat was glorious. I felt like I could conquer the world, standing up, moving to that beat. I brought a purple physical graffiti t-shirt that got stretched, torn, and bloodied through the many bar fights of that crazy 70’s era. I cannot thank u enough Rebeka for your post, which took me back in time to that night. Everything u said, was oh so on point, and I also teared up listening to what u said. The tribute and all the performances were truly impressive, and the Stairway to Heaven performance was absolutely amazing! Best reaction post, EVER! Thank u.

Robert Plant wanted Jason to be with them in the audience but he said he couldn't because he had a gig that night and couldn't get out of it. Can you imagine giving this performance ( Hearts) in front of not only the band that made the song plus add in the fact Ann and Nancy idolized Led Zeppelin growing up. Robert Plant says Heart's cover of Stairway to Heaven is the best cover he's heard. Heart pretty much made Stairway their own. Robert Plant teared up mostly because he was thinking about Bonzo and seeing Jason preforming his dad's part in the band. Also Jimmy Page told Ann And Nancy they have his permission to cover any Zeppelin song they want whenever they want. Plus I love Heart they're from one town north of where I grew up. You should dive head first into Heart's catalog of hits which is long both in length and time. They started in the late 70's or early 80's and still going strong today.

What these musicians did was a true tribute to Zeppelin not just bands covering Zeppelin’s music. Stairway to Heaven was special because they didn’t try to cover it with only the amazing vocals of Ann Wilson. Whoever arranged this made it a true tribute to the music. Ann’s vocals were just one layer added to dozens of other musicians all putting their own talent to one song and making it epic in its own right. It had to be hard being the guy playing the guitar solo in Stairway to Heaven. It’s not just playing the notes, Jimmy Page had magic in his hands. If people could get the sound and emotion from the guitar the same way Page did then Jimmy Page wouldn’t be the rock legend he is today.

They are a unique rock group in so many ways. Like any other group would replace one member with another musician, the way they market their music, how they named the albums and so many thing, they never focus in who is more important or taking credit for the success. You notice how high regarded musician view 'Led Zeppelin' They enjoy playing their music.

Absolutely love the way you pay attention. Your expressions, your body language, your gestures...you get what's going on. You understand what's important, and respond in the moment. You really seem to care. No pandering, no fakery. It would be very easy to focus solely on how beautiful you are, but there's so much more to it than that. There are a lot of beautiful women who do these reactions. The difference is in the way your beauty becomes even more enchanting with your heightened expressions. Your enthusiasm is truly something to behold. Thank you for reviewing this.

As always, Superb, every time I've seen Heart in concert, they did a Zeppelin tune. I am also a Huge Jason Bonham fan, ever since his debut album up to now with Sammy Hagar and the Circle.

Fantastic reaction, and so glad to find someone doing the full Led Zeppelin reaction, not just Stairway to Heaven! You’ve definitely got a new subscriber here. I was just watching another video of you jamming out (like I do Lol) to the live Depeche Mode performance of Personal Jesus on the David Letterman show, and now here I am watching you react not only to the masterpiece-Heart performing Stairway to Heaven w/Jason Bonham-but the full Led Zeppelin segment of the evening! (Ironically, David Letterman was one of the other five honorees that night; he’s also wearing one of the Kennedy Center honors medals-w/the🌈 ribbon-and sitting just left of Jimmy Page.) As others have said, it is a prestigious national award given each year to five honorees who have made special contributions in entertainment and the arts in America-even when the honorees aren’t necessarily American, obviously. I don’t know how many faces you recognized in the crowd, but besides the Obamas (this was during his administration) the audience is a sea of Who’s Who when it comes to serious talent. You clearly see Yo Yo Ma, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Bonnie Raitt, and Debbie Allen all really getting into it, and lots more if I freeze-framed everything to try to look at everyone.😄 Robert Plant looks so serious mostly because he’s holding back tears; he was told Jason (his godson) wasn’t even going to be able to be there, much less playing drums. ❤️😭 You could tell that he-they all 3-were really touched by the whole tribute. Of the artists who performed, I’ve been lucky enough to see Heart and Foo Fighters live. If I could just add Lenny Kravitz to that group I’d be set. 😉 Geez! does that man ever age? He looks just as good today-and just as cool-as he did in 30 yrs ago! Although Kid Rock‘s performance was good too, I’m not a fan. Most of his own music does nothing for me, and there’s quite a bit about him I just don’t like personally. Heart was my 2nd concert ever-1987 (age 12), and they were awesome, of course! They were awesome back in the 70s when they were the first female-fronted hard rock group on the scene, and they still are awesome today. Ann was 63 when this was recorded

THE TRUTH Been A Zeppelin fan since the 70's.😊 I KNOW all genres. I was the ripe age at the right time for ALL genres..a tennager in the 1980's which was the beginnings of rap. Rap comes from rock n roll believe this or not. My household as a child was all of rock n roll. As a teen in the 80's I had a younger brother that gravitated to rap. Because of him I got into Snoop Dog big time & everything that was hip at the time..absolutely loved! I can say 100% that the rock n roll genre will always be here to stay in my heart deeply. Rap is a genre that can go.I will not miss. I am well rounded in rap. I can say that rock n roll is dear to my heart.🔴

My brother saw Led Zeppelin in 1978. This performance by Heart doing Led Zeppelins " Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Honors for Zep. You can see the happy faces of Led Zeppelin in the balcony that they approved what Heart did. The drummer is John Bonham's son Jason. John died in 1980. John was one of the best drummers if not the best. Awesome tribute
