Its called the Rosenstein defence: I'm in charge & I sign off. But where it says that I swear under oath that all the statements & evidence contained in these documents has been verified as true it does not mean that I personally looked at them and if it is subsequently found out that this was just a bunch of horse manure I will blame it all on everyone else saying that I assumed that they had checked everything. The fact that we all thought that this would be the nail that finally brought Donald Trump to his knees meant that we had to cut a few corners in the process.

Interesting she could respond to questions posed by Republicans as the Democrats objected that she was not allowed to answer. When AG Barr testified, he was not allowed to answer and often the person posing a question provided his/her own answer to the question. In my opinion we might learn more if questions are submitted in written form to a person with no political connection to either party and Senators and Representatives must sit silently and listen answers and a written summary of the hearing be published in the Federal Register for us the citizens of the USA.
