As an Ulster Scot providing his 2 cents, This is very well done capturing the very real of the moment. I would encourage you to pursue this line of playing as it attracts my attention but not might be what will provide you fame.

I like to play Marching music, i feel a special predilection for that. Shame still I can't to learn to play the fife.

The fife isn’t too difficult. I taught myself using an old manual from the 1600s and a fingering chart. I was already a trained woodwind player when I did it, but it wasn’t too hard. Remember, the army had to train men and boys to do it who probably had zero musical experience whatsoever, and they succeeded.
