DAY IN THE LIFE | unboxing haul, new recipe & family day

welcome back to another daily vlog!!! it was jarrett's off day so we got lots of time together. went to the library, did an unboxing haul of some stuff i got in the mail, & cooked my mom's turkey lasagna that we loveeee!! hope yall enjoy!!

TURKEY LASAGNA RECIPE |
ingredients-
* lasagna noodles
* 2 lbs turkey meat
* jar of marinara sauce
* 1 pack parmesan cheese
* 1 pack mozerella cheese
* package of spinach
* carton of cottage cheese
* carton of egg whites
how to cook-
9x13 baking dish, oven @ 350 degrees, overall cooking time ~1 hour 50 min covered with foil, 10 min uncovered
* cook turkey meat, add marinara sauce with the turkey meat when done cooking i forgot to do this
* warm up spinach in a bowl with a splash of water & wet paper towel covering it, 1:00 in microwave until all shriveled best way to say it? lol
* drain & pat dry spinach, add to bowl and start a mixture with 1 cup of cottage cheese, 1/2 cup of egg whites, handful of parmesan & mozerella, salt & pepper, mix together
* grab the baking dish, spray with olive oil, start with marinara sauce on bottom of dish & then layer- lasagna noodles, turkey meat & marinara sauce mixture, sprinkle both cheeses, then cottage cheese & spinach mixture, repeat 2-3 times depends on how much mixture you have left and end with turkey meat & sprinkle both cheeses on top. cover with foil when done
* cook 50 min with foil, 10 min without. stick knife in to make sure its done
