Kenner Corner 01: Bishop- Desert Storm

Kenner's Aliens toy line was introduced in 1992 and in 1994 they introduced the Predator toy line. It's a toy line that I adored and stuck with me through out the years.
The first episode is Bishop: Desert Storm.

Thank you! I’m glad you like these Kenner videos. I got plenty of other Kenner stuff in the pipeline. Once Predator is done, I’m moving in T2. On July 31 I’ll be releasing Kenner The Shadow video for his 90th anniversary

Bishop's "extra weapon" is a cattle prod. Kenner went with a "Terminator look" with this figure.

I remember seeing this figure in the store as a kid and thinking, "Wtf happened to Bishop?" But then I thought the gatling gun was super cool and didn't care...but one of the handles on my gatling gun broke pretty quickly, so I wound up replacing it with an appropriately sized screw. I always figured the extra accessory was some sort of shock baton or cattle prod.

So, I grew up with this action figure and never ONCE did it occur to me to put the gun onto his arm peg. I feel so dumb now.

I'm right there with you - I never thought to do that as a kid, and this was the first time I've seen him with the gun mounted to his arm.
