Yes, it's my go to game these days (I prefer it to CoC...dunno if that's sacrilege)

“The 20s had dancing and foreigners, neither of which Lovecraft liked.” 😂 Hilarious!

Trail of Cthulhu is awesome. So is the Arc Dream annotated version of “The King in Yellow,” which everyone should have. Hello, all!

I mainly play a swedish game called Kutulu, which shares some DNA with Trail (mainly the No Roll for Clues-mechanic) and I do prefer it. That said, sometimes it's fun to break out CoC.

Another awesome episode, especially liked this one, being an avid gamer. I played Call of Cthulhu a lot over the years. I have not played Trail. Sounds like a more forgiving system. I have lost so many characters in C of C over the years. Either death or insanity in most cases. It did not help that I believe my GM was a closeted sadist. 😱.Happy spooky October

I've played both a lot and not especially found Trail more forgiving, you fail fewer skill rolls but that just propels you forward into a sanity and or physical kicking that much more smoothly 😂

@@bearhustler LOL sounds like a quicker demise. I guess the thing I like about it is having to roll for your kind of mundane specialty like lock picking or just driving etc. I played games where my buddies and myself could not roll a positive roll for what seemed forever. Just unnecessary hold up of the game. I like that. Keep rolling 6's
