Fun fact: "Chemical X" was originally a can of whoopass. The 1992 short film that would later be turned into the Powerpuff Girls when the idea was pitched to Cartoon Network was called Whoopass Stew!, and in it, the girls were called the Whoopass Girls, since it was a can of whoopass that Professor Utonium accidentally knocked into the concoction. Whoopass Stew! can still be found on KZbin. Aside from the name changes, and the Professor's character design, the actual Powerpuff Girls opening remained surprisingly similar to the original short. Bonus fun fact: The Powerpuff Girls and the lore of the band Gorillaz take place in a loosely shared universe, with each occasionally referencing the other. PPG villain Ace, of the Gangreen Gang, was canonically the bassist for Gorillaz for one album cycle.

Man I've always had artists that inspired me and made me give song writing or producing beats a try, but I'd consider anytime Kenny throws something together and collabs with an artists as an inspiration too. Such good energy and there's just something about watching people do what they love that is inspiring and makes me happy and want to chase those dreams. I can't think of one clip of Cave that I haven't vibed and had a good time and been inspired.
