Art imitates life. We living foul the music will be foul. We start a revolution guess what the music will be revolutionary. Music is the soundtrack. But the movie is made first than we produce the music to match the imagery. Music has always been the reflection of what's happening in the streets. If we are gonna blame art. I will play along:Movies & video games which contain music and images is by far more impactful than songs that are 2 and half minutes long. I do not hear no one talking about these crazy azz demonic and killing movies the depect and decenitize murder.

So before Gangsta Rap existed on a main stream level in the Late 80s WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR ALL THE KILLING,ROBBING,STEALING,PIMPING,HOEING, DRUG USE AND SO ON🤔 IT BEEN GOING ON!!!!
@jonathanjelks5743 Жыл бұрын
Times were tougher then. That was the height of the crack epidemic. Often times people from that generation was hustling to put food on the table. The art was imitating life then. Rappers were reporting what they saw or experienced. A lot of todays youth are spoiled, entitled, lack work ethic, ambition & direction. They get high & run drills because they have no purpose & are impressionable. The youth are imitating rappers now. 80s & 90s we’re more about hustling & being a go-getter. Big difference.
