Hyde road on a sunny afternoon, best time at Hyde road Saturday nights pre 70s when they had track lighting during the racing with seating lights off can still picture it with only the track lit up during racing, great days.

Brave fella. Loved him as a rider. When he died and took his poor wife with him, for me, Speedway was never the same. RIP to them x

Jason Burke just because he was a good rider that's no reason to refer to him as anything other than a murderer.

He wasn't that popular seemed to be arrogant, its a pity he was a very talented rider. The Carter family never really got on with others.

"I'm going to go back to the hospital tomorrow to see what's causing the pain" as if it wasn't obvious! Brave rider.

Say what you like about him, that bloke had some huge “male parts” when it came to riding a Speedway bike.
