I've met Kenny Chesney twice to get his autograph and he was so nice. The first time was after a concert. He spent time with everyone in line. There was an older man infront of me that talked for a good while and he just stood there listening. The second time was at a Walmart. There was a blonde hair lady with him that said no time for pictures with him just autographs because he was on his way from Tennessee to north carolina for a concert. After I got my autograph I went across from the table to try to get a picture of him but the line of people was between us. He saw I was trying to get a picture so he asked the next person in line to stand to the side and he posed for me for my picture. I was so excited he done that for me. At the first concert he had Peyton Manning come out and sing Back where I come from with him. Peyton was still playing at Tennessee then. It was awesome.

What's to say? Positive trends from the last administration continue at the same pace? For the stock market: removing any accountability for massive corporations, gutting any ability for the consumer to challenge anti-consumer practices; and giving them massive tax cuts whilst allowing them to write their own rules and place their own people on every comission that is supposed to provide oversight to have effective veto powers over any change means that they'll bank massive profits for corporate share holders, hedge fund managers, and elite interests - which they unsurprisingly like, and so the stock market goes up. That's not really news, it's just obvious. Give the rich corporate investor class everything they want, and they'll like it, duh! The transfer of wealth from everyone to the top 1% continues; it was already very fast, now we're turbo-charging it. So, yes, the Trump admin removal of those regulations, that allowed the little people to hold the global mega-wealthy and gloabl corporations to any sort of account at all, whatsoever makes the very wealthy and faceless corporate class very happy indeed. They know now that they can get away with anything at all, and bank all the profits. The stock market rises becasue they know they're all going to make a killing - and keep it almost entirely amongst themselves in the form of share buybacks bigger bonuses and dividends etc. No wonder that Goldman Sachs released their analysis yesterday that the big banks will be the biggest beneficiaries - yes, the exact same banks that engineered the 2008 crash, including the top beneficary of all... Wells Fargo! You really can't make this up. So, it's not some genius plan or magic trick that Trump has pulled, it's always been an obvious, if cynical and rapacious, option. Most admins decided not to let the lunatics run the asylum though. Caveat Emptor. Don't get me wrong, free markets fine, good. Unfettered markets, bad. (e.g. see Goldman Sachs long long history of paying massive fines without admitting culpability for where we are headed - Corp makes $4B through insider trading and manipulating the market, pays $200M fine to accpet no guilt despite definite crimes! You'll commit those crimes every time for a $3.8B profit!) I still don't think it's news. But, in fairness, if sustainable economic growth hits 4% for Q3/4 in 2018, then that will be news, and more attributable directly to Trump, as his policies would have been in place long enough to start to separate from the good trends inherited from the previous admin for growth and unemployment. The tax plan doesn't help, as it's so cynical, short term rises to the poor - forget about the personal cuts being phased out whilst corporate cuts are permanent, that's a red herring. The real point is that corporate class gets much greater cut, to amass much more capital, to massively more increase their ability to buy up everything and then squeeze prices that they can only live with. You'll have the extra $100 a month from your cut, but it won't get you anything. But, of course, those effects take approximately 8 years to kick in, by which time, the corporates will have made a killing, and the GOP could be out of power, having crashed the economy again, so that another party has no latitude to move economically (the deficit they'll say, irresposible spending! The horror!) Rinse Repeat.
