It's odd isn't it. I've been lucky enough to meet Kenny a few times, and it's like bumping into a family member you haven't seen for years. He's just such a lovely, humble, genuine and kind hearted human being, and this city is so exceptionally lucky to have inherited him as one of our own. Love ya Kenny

I would personally like to extend my heartfelt good wishes and gratitude to Kenny Dalglish for everything he’s done for Liverpool FC as a player and manager. I started supporting Lfc in 1986 because of Kenny. He is the greatest footballing hero I’ve ever had. Thank you Kenny .

Mike i start supporting LFC 1985. When I bought my very first pack of panni football stickers i was 6 years old. When i open the pack i had king Kenny and the lfc badge it had a sliver background with the red griffin it was that moment i fell in love with lfc all my mates were like noway that's Kenny and Liverpool.

Lovely to watch video, and my first time seeing Paul. Kenny can recentre your opinions in few words. I've always likened that to his playing days, when everything he did was effecient and positive. The legend I grew up knowing. Take care lads.

The decision to change the name of the league was purely for the intention of erasing Liverpool’s amazing achievements. Football in England is treated as if it started in 1992. And that is nonsense. Something needs to be done.

A legend to any true football fan, including United fans. And such a humble bloke as well. What a player!! I'm a 54 year old life long Liverpool fan from London (because of Kevin Keegan). I went to the Louvre for the first time in my life last month and saw the 'Mona Lisa'. I said to my wife that the only thing I can compare to seeing the 'Mona Lisa' was seeing Liverpool in the flesh for the first time when I went to watch them play my local club West Ham. We won a corner kick and Kenny Dalglish took it. The Boleyn Ground was really tight so Kenny had to lean right up against the advertising hoarding to get a good run up. I was right there in the corner and he looked down and said 'sorry mate' because his arm brushed my shoulder. It was the same emotion I felt.
