Was at Laugh Factory Chicago not long ago and heard in a set from Kenny's friend - Joe, I think - that Kenny had passed. Joe's set was dedicated to this man. Saddened to hear about Kenny but if these videos of him show even a fraction of the humanity he carried with him, I have no doubt he had character. Funny and authentic people like Kenny will be missed. Rest in peace.

Pete Holmes re-released Kenny's episode from 'you made it weird' podcast, and I am really sad we lost such a funny and seemingly pretty positive person. I am late to the Kent deforest party, but I'm glad I am at least aware of him and how funny he was.

Ebikes are truly dangerous. They go at a speed that should not be employed on a bike lane. New York is a disaster. I cannot commute by bike any longer. I've stopped biking completely, because of the e-bikes, especially those driven by delivery people, who observe no rules, and are a constant threat. And most bikers do not wear a helmet. E-bikes are an epidemic. Too sad, this very smart, talented man, lost his life on one of them.

Got ran over by a delivery guy in Prospect Park while running. He left me for dead. They ride wherever they feel with no regard for pedestrians. The city has completely dropped the ball. RIP

I can't find anything stating whether or not he was wearing a helmet. If not, I can see why it would be a touchy subject to publicize about someone who died as a result. But that's also what makes it vital information, especially when it's someone famous, because regular people don't make national news when they die.
