This song calms my 2.9 year old down. He can be in meltdown mode for whatever reason a 2+ year old has and I'll pull this up. He stops mid-scream and comes running to sit on my lap. I ask him the name of the song. He answers correctly then watches the lyrics play and sings the parts he knows. He can't read yet but so far he sings to the chorus, specifically the words "stay on your mind". Appreciate this song for what it does for me as a grown woman (40+) and for it being clean for my lil man to hear and learn. Thank you Mr. Lattimore. Please continue to represent true R&B/Soul music!
