I give 2K credit for trying to take things one step at a time on adding more features and matches and options. I feel like the underground match is a stepping stone into getting a lumberjack match, and I think I Quit matches are just right around the corner too. One thing I wish would return is going backstage in the middle of falls count anywhere matches

fr they should def. add it back that you can go backstage while having a match, and by that they should aswell make a better backstage area with Gorilla and locker rooms and stuff

Please everyone don't start bitching about the core gameplay of this game it's the same as last year and as far as I'm concerned if it ain't broke don't fix it.

All the aki games on the 64 had the same gameplay. Smackdown 1 to shut your mouth had the same gameplay. Here comes the pain to SvR 07 had the same gameplay. Yea people just want to complain. History tells us that these games will have the same gameplay for about 4-5 games because they actually change it. I like this gameplay minus the stances and perhaps they can refine some animations to make them more fluid.

It’s not that, it’s that the core gameplay needs to evolve. It’s not enough to take out features and bring them back as if they’re new. Yes they’re adding a bit more depth but it’s very small things yet we have more powerful consoles so they should be pushing the gameplay to new heights.

They seem to have made those fighting stances go away. When they bring back quick grapples the core gameplay will finally be it's smoothest.

it is broke they need to nerf reversels online i dont wanna constantly get reverse after reverse unless you are stunned. you cant punch or kick or grapple unless theyre stunned

Kenny watch the leganyinc guys they showcase how awesome and good the new backstage arenas are. Also in the underground match when the person is on the edge trying not to fall you can do a short spear to him to the outside. All I need is Universe Mode information now and the Island.

Kenny was a big promoter of AEW fight forever even though it was badly made but one thing they did better than wwe2k25 was the preset camera angles as you hardly ever had to look through ropes.....😅

I just wish they added more contexual animations like throwing out wrestlers should be threw the middle rope not irish whip. More grapple transitions etc. Also let us edit the regular gameplay camera zoom and height options like 3rd person

I'm excited. Chain wrestling , more backstage environments, new match types , multi man matches with special guest ref , improved submission system/mini game, intergender matches of any type , promos. I wasn't gonna get 2k25 but this is already at least better than 2k24 tbh

I feel like everything I have seen so far in 2K25 looks fantastic! 1 of the new features that caught me eye is the fact that FINALLY the women can now bleed in a 2K game! Might not be a thing for some people but I felt it was definitely time for it to happen & with intergender matches being back & all! We have about a month & that Bloodline Edition shall be MINE!!!! 😏☝🏻

I think it's great we get Captain Lou Albano. So there is a story of his getting real drunk. Vince Sr (Vince McMahon's Dad) would host a dinner & they were like Mafia like dinners. As they were discussing wrestling, but Lou shows up to this thing. Drunk & naked. He tried to kiss Vince Jr as a joke. Vince Snr would fire him. The next day would rehire him back.

It's not so much that 2K has bad gameplay, but it is boring. Especially over time. It lacks the addictive and satisfying feel that a lot of fun games have. For example the combat system in God of War games. Or better yet when comparing to older wrestling games from the past. Those games were fun. 2K lacks fun when it comes to gameplay. Typically the controls and how you pull off moves or big spots can be a real drag and it becomes tedious most of the time.
