June 06, 2020 I lost my wife, my best friend, my everything to cancer.. She died in my arms and I miss her every second and everyday! She got her wings now and where ever she is I know she’s is not suffering anymore and happy and she would want me to be the same. My beautiful mother died due to Covid 19 last week, I miss all her calls in the morning checking on me. She was the most amazing person I knew I'm so blessed that in this pandemic over 300 people gathered in a Zoom funeral and spoke how she helped them overcome life and sadness. I know God has a special place for her.

Seems almost everything comes in to our lives for only "seasons," parents, siblings, favorite dogs, youth, that special love. And while I love the island romance theme of the video, I could easily have seen it being a young father playing catch with his son (and the son now grown looking back), a young lad playing fetch with a young pup (and years later having to say goodbye), or just someone looking back on their faded youth... but in every case, we'd do it all over, because damn it was good. I love this video and boy do I love this song.

I cry like a girl when I hear this song, especially in the summer. Reminds me of my ex-wife of 22 years and my mother. My ex and I don’t talk because our lives are different but I love her despite the breakup. I’d do it all over, and it was great knowing her. I lost my wife of 13 years to breast cancer in 2011, july 29th . She was such an inspiration to everyone around her!! I am so glad i had the time with her i had. Our son had just graduated highschool. A couple weeks later she was gone. The hardest day of my life was coming home and telling my son his mom wasn't coming home. After an abusive childhood, a thousand bad decisions, a divorce, I got clean. And after 16yrs I am still on the path. I found the beauty of knowing love, feeling truly alive. Over time I met the woman of my dreams, and we served the community together, traveled, laughed, lived, and never once ever had a cross word. She was hands down the most beautiful person I have ever known in my life. One day it was her past that came in, and little by little se got lost in it while trying to find herself. She for no reason I could fault her for needed to heal and find her own way, and she could not do it with us. I stayed faithful and waited, hoped, loved, but she is still out there finding her way. She has not met anyone, we just said, "I have never loved like this before or since" I still miss her every single day, but she is still out there finding her way in the world. This song hit me hard, because unlike some breakups no one could find a single reason to be mad at each other. No one truly did anything wrong, but I am not ashamed to admit as a man, this hit me deep and the tears fell once again today. I will always love that lady...I am just grateful that we got to share so much beauty. It was more than I ever knew or thought would happen in this life...there is that.

Love this song reminds me of losing my youngest daughter. She was so full of life then came all the sicknesses and disease and it took her away from me. Dear lord i love her so even more tham when she was alive. You never be alright you just learn to cope with it better each day. Thank godfor jesus christ. I couldnt cope if it wasnt for him.
