If Gremmy is actually the strongest or not is up for debate. He is undoubtedly the strongest of the normal Quincies though. THere are a few with a special title that will be revealed in a few episodes that contains several who are also up for contention for strongest. The thing about Gremmy is though, he was basically in prison most of the time. He is heavily stunted both in power and mentality. He is a lunatic, that Meteor was literally intended to at least seriously harm Ywatch as well. He was only a fraction of what he could have been because he was so dangerous they kept him contained and isolated preventing him from gaining any real combat experience with his abilities. He literally almost imagined his own end because of that. Its hard to imagine how crazy he could have been if he was experienced with his ability instead of only having one real fight ever that killed him.

If Kenpachi wasnt busted enough before, he's on a whole other level now. When he fought Gremmy he was lucky such a power like Visionary wasnt in the hands of someone more capable but that power had some flaws in itself like needing to focus on that particular thing. Regardless, Gremmy is definitely one of the strongest to me just by the fact you can literally do ANYTHING your mind imagines..as far as we know.

Back in the day there was a theory floating around about this reveal and I had no idea about it, so when this happened in the Manga, I was floored by it on every level, I thought it was the coolest twist ever, then I found out that half the fandom had been saying "yeah, Yachiru is the manifestation of Kenpachi's Zanpakto in the world." and I felt very stupid I still think it's one of the best reveals ever even though a lot of people got to the finish line before me lol

The fact that Bankai could be stolen is proof, the Asauchi is its own separate blank soul, which becomes a vessel for a piece of the Shinigami's soul containing their inner abilities and some of their power. While "THE BLADE IS ME", not only were a few of them stolen, and Toshiro talking about Hyorimarus Voice being gone until he got it back, the whole Materialization is literally that soul manifesting in the real world like what happneed to Zabimaru and Zangetsu while they were all training for Bankai. So its not exactly impossible for one to materialize for a long time. Yachiru being around for so long, and even having her own Shikai is evidence she isn't though. We wil lhave to wait until more happens to confirm or deny.

If we’re lucky maybe some of the stuff post tybw will get animated as well and we’ll get to see a certain someone who’s bankai completly turns how bankai are supposed to work on its head…. Also number one zanpakto creator says he layers soul reaper souls together to make the Asauchi so i always wondered if something like the menos could happen where a strong enough soul or a freak combination of souls could make it have its own individuality.

Yachiru is kenpachi 's bankai spirit and the fact that yachiru was found completely unharmed among the corpes with thugs still present on site untill kenpachi came to obliterate them ......the thugs would already would have killed yachiru if she was an ordinary soul but she was only visible to kenpachi only...... ADDITIONALLY his shikai takes the form of an older woman and his normal ( default) zanpakuto takes the form of a adult woman in her prime somewhat similar to shunsui 's zanpakuto spirit "katen" as shown in zanpakuto rebellion filler arc and will be shown in upcoming cour 3 canonically......
