How do you improve your consistency? I fight Inner Father a lot for fun, and I know how I intend to counter every one of his moves, but often missing a tight deflection or counter attack by a single frame (it feels like) will screw up a perfect run. So how do you get consistent enough to do runs like this?

Since no one else responded. There are 3 Main ways. 1. Play without doing damage in the different phases. Only focus on the patterns, experiment where the window to counter attack/attack starts and ends. 2. Perfectionist playthrough. Every time you mess up, restart. Think of it like you would in a multi-player game. Usually the mistake is having attacked when you shouldn't have and getting hit by a hyper armor attack. Or messing up the parry which is literally just rhythm. 3. It's kind of lame but cheats on pc. Making the game a sandbox or practice tool. Switching it on and off to test out difficult moves is no shame
