Imo rurouni kenshin/ samurai x is masterpiece its so complete it gives you everything you need to fully understand the main character and form a bond of sorts that brings him to life from childhood till his death it has a depth to it that you dont see anymore

Easy way to tell the two Kenshins apart.Rurouni Kenshin Kenshin has slightly longer hair and more delicate features when not transformed into Battousai.Also,Samurai X Kenshin has darker red hair(More burgundyish whilst the original`s is more hot pink) and his eyes don`t glow amber when in Battousai mode,instead retaining their normal violet coloration but taking on a colder appearance.Also,Samurai X Kenshin is more stoic and doesn`t have the Yodaspeak of his Rurouni Counterpart although he still speaks more formally in his "wanderer" persona.
