Kenshin married with Tomoe

I think this is the happiest time of Kenshin life, when he finally
married to Tomoe, the beautiful samurai daughter from Edo who appears with calm and polite attitude but also mysterious. Kenshin always remember her scent , hakubai iko (white plum) perfume.
Together they live peacefully for a while before the tragic scene.
I really like the smile on Kenshin's face and the smile when Tomoe receive a gift from Kenshin. I wish the author tells more story about Tomoe T_T

Estos OVAs son sin lugar a dudas los mejores que hay… es muy redondo, cuentas una historia redonda, seria que explica bien nel sufrimiento por el que pasa Kenshin y Tomoe y como al final buscan la redención, cada uno a su manera. El OST es excepcional y adecuado, mostrando la naturaleza de cada uno de ellos y de la historia en general. Crudo como los animes de los 90’s.

緋村剣心は先代の奥様の雪代巴が心配の余りバトル中に割り込んで敵幹部との間に挟まったのが不味かったのですが、事故とは言えその先代の奥様の雪代巴を殺害した事を深く後悔して猛省したから「二度と人斬りには戻らずに人は絶対に殺さない」と不殺の誓いを固く立ててそれ迄に装備していた美濃刀と青色の着物を捨てて赤紫色の着物に着替えて新井赤空から諸刃の剣ではマイナス面に該当して自分が怪我をする危険性も高い逆刃刀を受け取って今に至る訳ですね。

If tomoe didn't die, a lot of what happened in the series might changed. Kenshin wouldn't become a rurouni, he will never meet Kaoru and stay in Kamiya Dojo. He might not even fight Shishio, as the new government wouldn't have a way to contact him to tell him about Shishio, or Kenshin himself wanted to disappear to avoid conflict as much as possible. And of course, there won't be a fight with Enishi.

If they live together forever, there's no Rurouni Kenshin or Samurai X, instead there will be a slice of life drama nanmed Kenshin the Radish Farmer more likely, but I won't complaint tho.

It's quite interesting that in the manga, I'm sure they actually married out of love. I don't remember the details, but this I'm sure of. They changed the plot a little bit for the OVA which is cool cause it has this sort of tense and more realistic overtone and I think it does it really well.

It may seem as a form of vengeance but coated with "love", but she really wanted to stop kenshin from becoming more of a ruthless killer by making herself as a sheath which also prompted Kenshin to change...the slice could also mean that she's marking over her fiancé's mark as a sign of forgiveness or a remembrance...either way we all have different interpretations

could it be that Yukishiro Tomoe or known as Himura Tomoe died because of carrying a child whose child was kenshin himura while kenshin himura was the killer of his fiancé. maybe Tomoe is ashamed of having a child from her fiancé's killer, so chose to die in the hands of kenshin himura .
