I just realized Kensi knew she might not come back and yet she still went. That is sad that she feels answers are more important then her life and Deeks. And she never left Deeks a goodbye note either. I hope there was a deleted scene

It's actually more complicated than that. Kensi had no choice, she was put on the spot. If she didn't go she most likely would've been fired and both Hetty & Granger never gave her time to write a goodbye note. Could they have handled it differently? Sure. But they didn't. This was done solely to facilitate Dani's pregnancy and create drama & shock value.
