They are in the extreme stooped-over state because of the Tranq dope that is now very common in Kensington. Tranq is short for tranquilizer. It is a combination of Fentanyl and Xylazine. Xylazine is a horse tranquilizer not approved for human use as it causes blood vessel damage when injected. It has its own severe withdrawal symptoms that are not addressed by Methadone. It is now much harder for the addict to attempt withdrawal and kick the addiction.... Public safety is another concern as some addicts pick up their Tranq, inject it, and then drive home. If they "dip-out" from the extreme sedation, they could very easily have a car accident

After the 1 month, undercover agents would buy samples and have them tested. If Xylazine is present in a particular streets sample, then that whole drug street gets hit by a massive police sweep. That would send the message that would solve the harmful Tranq problem.

Anyhoo, I was trying to get her to talk to me to determine if she was safe to discharge. When she wasn't dozing off she was hallucinating. I have a question because I was intoxicated with heroin during 6 years long time ago and needed to taking methadone during about ten years and I am completely clean since 10 years. So I know methadone ( or subutex) can cure from high dosed heroin people but what about Fentanyl?? There is a stuff 20x more potent than a high grade heroin, is there some substitution for it or the only choice is stopping without any sort of medication? Yeah they still use methadone and subutex for Fentanyl addiction, but when you get an adulterated supply (with tranquilizers) the detox is so much harder and should be in a controlled environment. This is the thing, you can’t know what you have been injecting and this is why so many stay hooked until they die.
