Pfaff Passport 2.0 Sewing Machine Feature Overview

My sister just gave this machine to me. She's had it for years and never could get it to sew right. She took it to her local pfaff dealer MANY times and they kept "adjusting" it and sending her home with it...still not working right. She admits it' MIGHT be user error. so now _I_ have it. I'm not a sewer. I have a LOT to learn! thanks for this video. It's helped me with my feelings of terror and dread.

I got a Passport 2.0 today as a gift from my mom who knew I had been looking for one for many years now. I’m very excited to get started on it and I’m watching videos to get familiar with it. I will probably be looking to buy some feet and accessories in 2025 as I figure out how to use it. Thanks for the intro. I did have to look up what IDT stood for but everything else you said in the video was very straight forward.

is it good for leather?

It can sew garment grade leather

This machine is a 2 it has no thread cutter. There is a 3 same size same price but it has a thread cutter that eill pull top thread down and cut top and bottom therad at same time . Then you don't have to touch anything just stick your fabric under and sew. Now why would you buy a 2 when you can get a 3 for same price does and has 25, more stitches, and thread cutter.
