A lazy day on the railway with 75008, Swiftsure. Built in 1943 by the Hunslet Engine Company it worked initially at the Longmoor Military Railway in Hampshire before being sent to France. Later it was used for many years at the Old Silkstone colliery at Dodworth near Barnsley. In 1973 it was relocated to Cadley Hill colliery in Derbyshire before it was preserved.

Great video. Although I am more of a diesel man, I do respect Steam engines as the Godfather to the railway.
