..like writing a movie, then shooting it in one take.. just the amount of calculation that must go into every note and every transition, no missed opportunities, no missed details, no compromises _on anything,_ yet everything all at the same time, *from a box with strings.* We've arrived; this is it, the ultimate, logical conclusion of "playing the guitar". I mean, what else is there - making it beatbox, or talk to animals? If, as a species, we stopped everything else we're doing right now and began beaming this channel into space with all the power we can muster, we might finally have justified our existence to the cosmos, is all. "Playing the guitar". One thing we've definitely got down pat.

There have been a couple times here and there when I discovered other types of the arts and put music on the back burner, but youy friend.....you've got to be practicing 10 hours a day, right? Another reason why I love your arrangements, Kent, is because other guitarists, particular jazz musicians, reharmonize and add so much to the song that I can't even tell what's going on. I don't understand any of the complex, over-the-top intellectual musical stuff going, and that's coming from someone who has a basic grasp of music theory already. I love how sweet and concise your covers are-- nothing overly intellectual or jazzy, just the good ol' song perfectly recreated, with all the details, as the original sounds. Keep doing what you do!

This whole performance was incredible, as always. But I feel the need to mention this specifically: that was the smoothest capo slide I have ever seen! Literally, a “blink and you miss it” skill you’ve just shown us. I cannot get enough of seeing your immense talent grow more and more each time, and I can’t wait for the next one! Thank you so much for all the joy and wonder you bring to anyone who listens!

Want to point out the harmonics at the beginning, the groove, the clever combination of melody and harmony on a single instrument, the dynamics … the whole bloody thing. Spectacular!

At 2:33 he remained faithful to the subtle delay Michael sang that part line of the chorus. Attention to the smallest detail.

Ooof. The kick drum with the wrist, the capo jump at the key change, the syncopation, co-ordination and dynamics throughout... This is brilliantly arranged, impressive technically and beautifully performed. All my hats off to you. Keep em coming.

I think people like these are the true aliens. Look how young he is and as good as he is. This just doesn't come from practice. He has a command of tuning and the fretboard that is unbelievable. I just look and listen and just throw my hands up. Too good. Too skillful.
