Great video! The food looks amazing! Thank you for being so transparent. I am so tired of people speaking for the entire medical community as if we are monolithic. We all have differing views, but, all we are hearing is the medical staff want you to.......How can a few people speak for millions. Everyone must do what’s best for them! That’s it! And for the people who are angrily saying that those who have not yet received the vaccine should be denied healthcare, the same could be said for many of the choices that result in their need for medical care. The same could be said for the alcoholic that comes in for a weekly paracentesis because he has cirrhosis. The same could be said for the lung cancer patient that continues to smoke. The same could be said for the patient with hypertension, but, comes in with edema or impaired renal function because they live off of a fast food diet and choose not to exercise. I could go on,but, we are not here to judge. We are here to provide healthcare. Whether it’s the criminal or the victim we provide the same level of care. The president or the mail room worker! May we all become a little more compassionate and tolerant.

Love this ! So true! Like I responded to another comment as healthcare providers we do not all think alike. We are human first . Also I think it is immoral to suggest medical workers should be able to refuse care to the unvaccinated but don’t let me get started.... you said it perfectly. 💐

As a healthcare provider you don’t get to pick and choose whose life you save. If a stroke patient comes through the emergency room doors no one says oh, wait is he the CEO of a company? The same protocol for inmate #25438 is the same for Mrs.------President of ----And for the record, I have told politicians and billionaires from other countries who thought they should be able to go ahead of scheduled patients that everyone else’s needs are just as important as theirs ,therefore, they will be seen when the time permits. As healthcare provider with integrity, you have accepted a commitment to provide the best healthcare that you can provide regardless of race, gender, body habitus, sexual orientation, lifestyle choices or economic status. It is unethical to do otherwise. People fall short as humans tend to do,however, it is still immoral and unethical.

Exactly! And the biggest elephant in the room are the people choosing to NOT acknowledge all the so called vaccinated coming down with Covid 1-2x, much less the ones dying shortly after. And of course the numbers aren't transparent in U.S., which in and of itself is worrisome. I have friends and family who've been vaccinated and not vaccinated, and I feel it is their right to do what they themselves feel comfortable with as individuals. I'm still severely limiting who comes in my home, where I go masked, and double masked at times. We were taught hygiene cleanliness before we could talk so that's a no- brainer still. And social distancing is forever in play because the so-called vaccinated are and can still pass Covid to people!! People if we allow the government to mandate vaccines for COVID where will they stop with mandates? They are already becoming more and more invasive. If you are okay with putting others suggestions in YOUR body wait for the next shoe to drop!!

It started out that you have to take two and you are immune, then it went to “if you have the jab, you still can get COVID. However with m SLE lupus, rheumatoid arthritis fibromyalgia, and crohn's disease diagnoses -my rheumatologist and PCP have both advised me against receiving either of the vaccines. I was a homebody before covid, so I've since transitioned to working remotely from home, continue to social distance when I go out, and double mask& wear my gloves. I too have had the same anxiety for the same reasons. But I've decided to not take the vaccine and stay healthy.

They treated me with several prescriptions, but I survived and will always be grateful to them and their staff. Even now they stress that I shouldn't go to the ER for anything they can treat me for. I take my natural supplements, eat a clean diet, and exercise regularly -the gov't can keep their vaccine.

Thank you for sharing your experience in such an honest and down to earth way! I am a healthcare worker and I have taken the vaccine along with my family out of fear. I took the vaccine because I have family who are high risk and I still had a lot of anxiety when I went in to get the shot the first time. I tried my best to educate myself with information before taking the vaccine by checking out on the CDC website any information about it when the vaccine was first released. I had both of the Moderna shots and had mild reactions to both. I did not get a booster shot but I did end up getting covid even though I was fully vaccinated before the booster was available. I had every symptom of covid but luckily I recovered from the virus. I wonder if my symptoms would have been more severe if I had not taken the vaccine. My friend called me today freaking out because she is supposed to get the vaccine this week. She was so stressed because she is on the fence and so stressed out about whether she should get it because she doesn't feel comfortable. I told her that it is her personal choice and that she shouldn't feel pressured to get it of she does not feel comfortable and that she should only agree to getting the vaccine once she feels she can make a fully informed decision on of it will benefit her. I just shared your video and hope it will help her with the stress she had been feeling no matter what choice she makes. At the end of the day everyone has the right to choose what they believe is best for their own health. Thank you again 🙏🏽♥️ sending good vibes from New York.

I understand. However, it seems that all along your inner self was telling you to not do it, but it seems that their game of depriving humanity from their freedom ( like you said: you couldn't host more parties, etc) , and telling and showing that the only way to get that " freedom" back was to do as they said, worked after all. Just analizing and trying to figure out what is going on. That's all. Thanks for your story.

@@gregorfong-rose910 like the flu shot that increases your chance for dementia. My job..at a hospital is mandating the flu shot but not the covid shot as of now. If we cannot provide a physician letter if we declined the flu shot we are terminated. It was that way before covid. I have known one person who had a reaction to a covid vaccine...they are recovered and normal now..working all week. I have known many who got covid and are 6 feet under no recovery and I rehabilitate some who had covid..unvaccinated who will need a minimum of a year to recover with no guarantee they will ever be normal. My understanding is that one can become infected after getting vaccinated, since it take up to two weeks for the body to develop immunity to COVID-19. So, you can get infected with the virus up to the day you went to get vaccinated or the day after you get your shop. I got both Pfizer shots in June with just a mild sore arm for a coupe days. I don't know anyone personally who has had a bad reaction to the vaccines. I see that the overwhelming number of people filling the hospitals and dying are the unvaccinated. That told me that I needed to fear COVID-19 more than the vaccine. If there are adverse long-term consequences down the road from the vaccines, it's still better than the risk of catching the vaccine possibly today or tomorrow and potentially dying in a matter of days. The choice for me was die now or possibly long in the future; I'd rather not die now. Dr. Oz used to fine doctor.

Thanks for making & sharing this video, Habiba! Covid vaccine hesitancy is a real phenomenon even among trained medical professionals and the mandates make it even more terrifying!I am a physician and only decided to get the vaccine after a bout of covid and 14 days of isolation. It was horrible not being able to mingle with my family. The symptoms were not pleasant and I did not want anyone around me to experience the same. I also noticed that my patients who go the vaccines were fine and when they did get covid, symptoms weren’t as bad.

Habiba, even if you decided not to get the vaccine, I would still love your story! Again, thanks for sharing! The fears that have produce d the hesitancy to the vaccine are real to those who have them and it’s not right to vilify those who are still on the fence or have decided not to receive the shot. Presenting the facts and figures, calmly addressing people’s fears will eventually produce the desired results.

Thank you for making this video. I lost my older brother to covid. He was in a nursing home setting, for dementia. I don't know if he was vaccinated. It took his wife 2 days to call us, about his passing. My mother passed away 6 years ago and she was the glue that held our family together. We were a close family. Your food looks delicious. I am a vegetarian and I too have high blood pressure. I have eczema and I'm allergic to nichol. I'm 61 and havn't been vexed yet. My husband works at O'Hara Airport in Transportation so has no choice in the matter. Anyway I wish you were in my area I'd love to have a doctor like you. Despite my fears none of us had any significant side effects from the vaccine and none of us have been sick 😷 or gotten Covid over the last 2 years! Thank God . In fact my husband and Children have to get tested frequently to go on campus for school. Still we still double mask 😷 when our in public. Pray on it and ask God for guidance and courage. Take care🙏🏾

I understood your fear because I also waited for a while myself before I got vaccinated. In July, I went ahead and got vaccinated after my oldest daughter received hers because she is a college student. The only reaction I had was a sore arm, both times. I was going to get my youngest vaccinated, after she saw her pediatrician first, but she came down with Covid after catching it from a classmate at school. I sat in the emergency room scared and crying because I was afraid she might get really sick. Those were the longest 10 days of my life. I thank God her symptoms were mild. She had fever, headache, and a semi loss of smell.

Thanks for your transparency and honesty. I was one who was comfortable with being vaccinated as soon as it was available to my age group in NY. However my wife who is an RN at one of NY's most prestigious hospitals was very reluctant at first. I did not have the calmness and patience of your husband because daily l shared my concern for her . I was also her support on a daily basis when she would come home all stressed out because they delivered babies from very sick Covid mothers who then passed. When she decided to be vaccinated she did not even tell me she just surprised me one day with her vaccination card. I have also lost a few good friends to Covid because they were adamant that they were not going to be vaccinated. Again thanks for your openness.

Thank you for watching and sharing your story. People are fearful about the vaccine and I honestly can’t say they don’t have reason to be . It’s complicated. Hopefully many more will take the vaccine after weighing the risks and benefits. There are so many moving variables and unknowns. 😌Not all the vaccines have the same efficacy- some are better than others and which one you take may depend on access. Some people despite the vaccine will have breakthrough infections . How long will the vaccine offer protection? 3 months , 6 months? Will we eventually all need to take boosters? The virus 🦠 mutates and some vaccines may not work as well. Case in point: do we have a cure for the flu ( another viral infection)? No . Every year it comes back and sometimes the flu vaccine is not as effective . Some Science 🧪 is not always exact and there are trials and errors. If only we had all the answers and everything was so simple. Then of course there are the people worried about how safe the vaccine is given their pre-existing conditions.....I honestly get why many are fearful of taking the vaccine and I wish I could just say “believe in the science it’s all going to be ok I am a doctor - I know”. I am happy you and your wife are vaccinated and continue to stay healthy! It takes courage and faith to take the vaccine 😊

After such deliberation, you did the right thing for yourself and family. From a Patient's Perspective, I was shocked to learn this Friday that one of my key doctors (and other staff at a university med center ) is being fired for not taking the mandatory covid vaccine. As a patient who does careful due diligence on researchin each doctor , I thought this was the last tihng I ever expected to ask my doctor--are you Covid vaccinated? My doctor and I had such great rapport, but I have yet to reconcile the stellar quality or her expertise with her personal choice. Both seem incongruous. However, I have to respect her choice and wish her well. This is certainly a question I will ask each future doctor I interview.
