The weather is warming up and spring flowers are starting to appear. Now is a great time to hit the hiking trails at Kentucky State Parks, especially if you’re looking for ways to celebrate the 100-Year Anniversary of the Kentucky State Parks system!
Eagle Falls Trail, also called Trail No. 9, is a moderately challenging route offering stunning views. This is a very popular trail at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park and is located within a Kentucky State Nature Preserve.
Make plans to hike Eagle Falls Trail on dry days as the trail follows a sheer cliff line and wet conditions can be slippery and dangerous. The lower section of the trail also floods during high water. Please be mindful if hiking with very young children.
