I walked through this house in 1976. It was closed up then but the caretaker kindly let me in. Even in it's late days, it was a sight to behold. The atmosphere in the house was haunting.

Why did our Country,ever give up on this magnificent home ? We locals remember it, Rod Betts tried to protect it and we all failed him,shame on us!! 😢
