I have the analog only version of this radio, the tk-8180. These radios are brilliant. Easy to use and lots of useful features. They even have a db meter for recieved signal strength! I wish we had nxdn in the twin cities.

Pretty well explained. Now I know why it wasn't working, terminology differs quite a bit from the Icom IDAS stuff. One thing I'm not clear on, when you use the word "throttle", it sounds like that's the Kenwood equivalent for what Motorola calls 'strapping', right? (as in, strapping a TG to a channel)

hi ! I have a kenwood nx300g nxedge. I cannot adjust the nxdn settings of my radio. I have kpg111d. Can you program my radio with remote access to my computer? Or can you send me screenshots of the settings? thanks.
