Does the bandscope/waterfall displayed via the software over LAN display at a higher screen resolution than outputting the bandscope/waterfall via the DVI port direct to monitor? I am guessing yes?

does the lan from radio go to modem/router or direct to pc socket ? i ask as when i connect to modem/router it does not see it
