My dear dad used one of these when on the air he left his radios to me as he sadly passed away last January I switch then on occasionally and have a listen from time to time I haven't a call sign yet, and I did go on a amateur course last year but sadly didn't pass my foundation as I needed two more questions right to pass I went for the exam twice but not really sure if amateur is for me or not, I so used to the way cb was back in the day as grew up learning cb with dad he learnt me the phonetic code. I had my own radios etc but now gained my dad's radios I love to get back on the airwaves again soon

Very reliable rig. I got TS450S in 1994 and it still working great. Never had problems of any kind. I am building a new antenna to work DX on all bands with it.

I have one great radio my automatic antenna tuner has frozen it has to come out i mostly use an external atu but love to get the tuner in the radio working i guess they dry up in the motors i might have to take it apart lube it free what would you recommend n1sca Florida

I just want the JTDX to communicate with the radio and automatically change bands and frequencies. I will use two audio cables and the VOX function to activate the TX. Can you help me? Thanks.

Not understanding this.. you set it in "basic" mode to disable being able to select features? What does that have to do with mobile use? not making sense to me

The mod looked simple except more clarification is needed on the location of the diode. Is it the only one on that side?
