I think that Kandi and Kenya get along so well because both were extremely successful before they came on the platform of RHOA. Kandi was that girl when it came to music and Kenya won Miss USA and she was on EVERY black sitcom in the 90s coupled with her movie appearances like Waiting To Exale and Deliver Us From Eva.

Kandi and Kenya are a good example of what it’s like to be grown women in a genuine friendship. You can agree to disagree and it not be the end of your friendship. I think people like pinning them against each other because they’re both such strong women that you would think two alpha females are always going to clash and have issues but in this case I think they since they’ve spent enough years filming with each other, being around each other, vacationing witnessing huge monumental moments in each other lives off and on camera, they know each other and they know each other‘s boundaries. I’ll never forget when Kandi stood up for Kenya that season that man tried to attack her while the other woman blamed her … That was the start of a solid friendship imo
