Kenya protests: at least five killed as parliament burns

At least five people have reportedly been shot dead in the Kenyan capital Nairobi after police opened fire on protesters outside the country's Parliament.

Crowds stormed the building as MPs were voting on a law to raise taxes. Part of the complex was set on fire, while there were running battles between police and protesters outside.
Kenyan president William Ruto said there would be a "full and effective response" to what he called "treasonous events".

It can be either of the two following situations that is happening right now all over the world. Maybe even some combination of the two:- 1.) We are rapidly approaching an era where manufactured protests will make it seem like all governments are bad and then we can move towards anarchy or a world government depending on the situation. 2.) We are rapidly approaching an era where collapse of or tectonic shifts to the nature of the global economy will cause real distress to the people who will then rise up and revolt against their governments even though the people themselves will have no proper, single solution that everyone agrees upon. This will just make a bad situation worse. Quite possible that those aiming for situation 1 will exploit and hijack genuine protests under 2 to further their agenda, all to the long term detriment of the people themselves. The era of post truth is scary.
