A gleam of hope.. nikatulituma the best officers to Haiti.. the current trajectory, NPS is creating an environment for thriving lawlessness by choosing to be political. Big up our bros and Siz, hope your experiences there will be enough to redeem the lawlessness we are continuously and increasingly experiencing at home.

I really appreciate your support and perspective! It’s important to recognize the efforts being made by Kenya for sure, and I hope NPS mission leads to meaningful improvements both in Haiti and back home.

As a Christian country in the South Pacific namely Papua new guinea I take my hat of for putting God first in your line of work in Haiti. I wished my country's security agencies adoft such fundamental values of Christianity in dealing with law and order issues

Thank you for your kind words! It's heartening to see faith integrated into community service. Perhaps sharing these values could inspire positive changes in Papua New Guinea's approach to law and order.

They are underfunded and out numbered . How do you expect 1000 officers to defeat 100,000 gang members. I have also seen Haiti police officers in DW claiming Kenyan troops refuse to go for patrols. If we want to help Haiti tuwache uongo and propaganda. Patrolling because cameras are recording you is evil

But an evidence can be recorded,Haiti is big we will deal with it bit by bit,

Haitian locals were pleased with the security Kenya is providing when everyone else turned their backs. It's not the role of the National Police Service (NPS) to make arrests until their personnel increases and a proper system is established within Haiti's Police and government, which is almost nonexistent. The Kenya National Police can only do so much with their limited personnel and funding. For now Kenya will continue to connect with their local communities.

@EmmanuelMotelin so why is the government asking to change the mission into full UN mission . I have people on the ground, they said nothing as improve, and a lot of Kenyans have not been paid. It's been 7 months already, and no arrest has been made. The entire thing is a joke. They need to go back. The US has been playing tricks like always, you talking about armed kids , if they wanted to solve this issue, it would have been done a week. If the US wasn't implicated, that issue would have been resolved. I know what the end goal is. The Kenyans and the others need to go, stop playing games with the white men.

@@AnonymousPersona-x8q Haiti doesn't have the means to defend its civilians, the gov is barely functional, and it's a humanitarian crisis. Be grateful for any help you receive because I don`t think I would want to live there under the current conditions. Kenya isn't there to solve decades-old issues; previous interventions with more troops didn't solve them either. The question remains: what happens if Kenya leaves? Trump wants many deported back, but do you have the security or military to handle the deteriorating conditions? What about children wanting a normal school life? No country was willing to help.

Over 200 gang members have been killed since Kenyan officers went to Haiti with the help of the Haiti police and so far Kenya has 0 casualties
